2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing wstr.ro, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the website. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

3. Definitions

• Digital products · the PDF eBook, the audiobook (10 audio stories), the animated video stories and any bundle thereof, delivered electronically
• Account / Library · your personal area on wstr.ro from which purchased products are read, listened to, watched or downloaded
• Gift code · a WSTR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code redeemable for a digital product
• Consumer · a natural person acting outside a trade or profession (GEO 34/2014)

4. Your account

• One account per person; registration requires a valid email address, verified before first purchase access
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account
• Accounts may only be created by persons aged 18 or over
• We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, or unauthorised sharing of purchased content

5. Products, prices and payment

• Prices are displayed in EUR (and, where shown, RON) and include all applicable taxes
• Payment is processed by Stripe; accepted methods are shown at checkout. Card data is entered directly on Stripe’s secure systems and never reaches our servers
• An order is confirmed when payment is authorised; you receive an email confirmation with the order number
• Obvious pricing errors may be corrected before delivery, with the option of a full refund

6. Delivery of digital products

Delivery is instant and electronic: as soon as payment is confirmed, the product appears in your account library, where you can read the PDF, stream or download the audio chapters, and watch the video stories. No physical shipment takes place unless a printed edition is explicitly offered and ordered.

7. Right of withdrawal · digital content

Under GEO no. 34/2014 (implementing Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, art. 16 lit. m) provides an exception:

8. Licence to the content

Purchasing a digital product grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for private, family use: reading aloud to your children, listening together, on your own devices. You may not:

• share, publish, upload or resell the files, in whole or in part
• remove technical or copyright notices, or circumvent access protections
• use the content commercially (public performances, derivative products) without prior written consent

9. Intellectual property

All texts, illustrations, audio recordings, animations, the website design and source code are protected by Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights. Editura Micul Stejar is a trademark registered at OSIM (Nice classes 09, 16, 35, 41, 42). Quoting short excerpts with clear attribution and a link to wstr.ro is welcome; any other reproduction requires written consent via contact@wstr.ro.

10. User conduct

When using the website you undertake not to: attack or overload the site, attempt unauthorised access to other accounts or to paid content, submit unlawful or offensive material through the contact form, impersonate others, or use the site to send spam.

11. Liability

• We make every effort to keep the site available and the files flawless, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability
• We are not liable for damage caused by factors outside our control (your device, network, force majeure)
• Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under mandatory Romanian law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (GEO 141/2021)

12. Disputes · ANPC & ODR

We prefer to solve everything amicably — write to us first. Consumers may also address:

• ANPC — National Authority for Consumer Protection: anpc.ro · SAL (alternative dispute resolution)
• European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

These terms are governed by Romanian law; competent courts are those at the operator’s registered office, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection jurisdiction rules.

13. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms for legislative, technical or commercial reasons. The current version and date appear at the top of the page; significant changes will be announced on the website. Orders are governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.
