1. The short, honest version
Because the PDF, audiobook and video stories arrive in your library the moment payment is confirmed, the law (GEO 34/2014, art. 16 lit. m) provides that the usual 14-day withdrawal right does not apply once delivery has begun with your express consent — which you give by ticking the box at checkout. This is the standard regime for ebooks everywhere in the EU.
That said, we want every family to be happy. Below are the situations where we do refund, gladly.
2. When we refund
- Defective or inaccessible files · if a file is corrupt, incomplete or will not open/play and we cannot fix the problem within 5 working days of your report — full refund (legal guarantee of conformity, GEO 141/2021)
- Double payment · charged twice for the same product — the duplicate is refunded in full, automatically once spotted or on request
- Non-delivery · payment confirmed but the product never appeared in your library and we cannot deliver it — full refund
- Accidental purchase, not yet accessed · if you contact us promptly and the product has not been opened, downloaded or streamed, we will assess the request with goodwill
3. How to request a refund
- Email contact@wstr.ro from the address on your account
- Include the order number (from your confirmation email or Dashboard → Orders) and a short description of the issue
- For technical problems, tell us the device and app you used — most issues are solved within a day
We reply within 2 working days.
4. How refunds are processed
- Refunds go back to the same payment method used for the purchase, via Stripe
- We initiate approved refunds within 14 days; banks typically post them in 5–10 working days
- When a refund is completed, access to the refunded product is removed from the library
5. Gift codes
Gift codes (WSTR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) are redeemable once and are not exchangeable for money. If a valid, unredeemed code does not work, contact us and we will issue a replacement.
6. Consumer protection
If you feel a request was not handled fairly, you may address ANPC (anpc.ro · SAL) or the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
